thank you for:
“Full, saturated colours

I want to avoid.”
– Lucian Freud
You are welcome. Why did you like that?
Nice photo on “Saturated”. Thanks for the visit and the like of mine.
I love your leaf. The contrasting colors are very striking. Thank you for stopping by!
I know nothing about photography, only what I like. And I liked this photo. It makes me feel cheerful. Intensely so.
Maybe that is the emotional significance Lucian Freud was trying to avoid. Have you seen his work? Not necessarily depressing. But definitely not cheerful.
No, I haven’t seen his work but will check it out. I hunt down things that cheer me like your photo.
Click on his name. I imbedded (is that the right word?) a link.
Wow! I like your photos better. He may be good but it’s not my style. A little dark for my taste.
I like experiencing the way different art makes me feel. I probably wouldn’t hang Freud’s art on my wall, but I would love to stand in front of it and just experience it.
I also love the way the photo challenges encourage me to look for certain things. Next week may be dark and dreary, so you never know! It’s like a big ol’ scavenger hunt!
